medical marijuana

what type of license do you need to legally operate a medical marijuana dispensery in San Diego Ca. ?In the last 2 weeks I believe that at least 15 dispenseries were shut down and even patients were arrested as well as workers and shop owners. any enlightening information would be helpful.

    i do not believe the issue was one of improper license.. i believe it was local politics, and collusion between local pols, cops, and federal prosecutors... misguided!!!

    Medical marijuana is legal according to California law.

    But it is illegal under federal law.

    There is nothing stopping the FBI from arresting people for using or selling medical marijuana at any time.

      recent busts in LA (W. Hollywood even!!) show that Adam is right, and local collusion with Feds is not needed to shut down clubs for violating federal laws. we must band together and change those laws immediately. I deeply believe in legalizing all drugs, on moral and legal and religious grounds.. but marijuana should be easiest. End Prohibition Now!!
